This policy explains what information Fay collects when you use, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, email address, phone number and order details. When you contact us or subscribe to emails, we collect whatever you send us.
Payment information. We do not see, store or handle your full card details. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments / Tap / Moyasar, who handle card data under their own security standards. We receive only a confirmation and the last four digits.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. This is done through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- process, fulfil and deliver your order
- contact you about your order
- handle returns, refunds and customer service
- send marketing emails, if you have opted in
- understand how the site is used so we can improve it
- meet our legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share information only with parties who need it to run the business:
- Shopify, which hosts our store
- Shopify Pay, to process payments
- Troud, to deliver your order
- Google, if you have subscribed to marketing
- Google Analytics, in aggregated form
Some of these providers process data outside Saudi Arabia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer meets the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Law.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 2 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 24 months.
Your rights
Under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- object to certain kinds of processing
To exercise any of these, email privacy@wearfay.sa. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site will stop working properly if you do.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You will still receive transactional emails about orders you have placed.
Children
Our store is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be notified by email to subscribers.
